A Brief History
Land surveying is the art of measuring both horizontal and vertical distances between points, angles between lines, direction of lines and of determination of location of points either on or near to the earth's surface.
The earliest surveys recorded were for establishing land boundaries. These types of land surveys are known as cadastral surveys and are still the important work of many surveyors.
R.G. Bennett Surveying Ltd. is a Cadastral Survey practice located in Brockville, Ontario and serving Eastern Ontario since 1993.
